This April, CC Winn Library will be hosting a poetry contest in honor of April being National Poetry Month. Students are encouraged to participate by submitting an original poem to the library.
Poems will be judged over originality, artistic quality and emotional impact; prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place.
Winners will also be featured in the library newsletter.
In order to qualify, poems must be:
- Typed
- Each entry must Include the student’s name and ID #
- 20 lines or less
- Submitted before deadline no exceptions
Deadline is Wednesday, April 11, 2018, students may submit up to two poems each.
