Friday, March 23rd, the Winn Soccer Team played their last district game taking on the Uvalde Coyotes.
This game solidified the boys in School history AND Eagle Pass history as they are now the first soccer team in the city to ever win a district title!
However, this was not the highlight of the game.
This game was a very special one, especially for the seniors as this was their last district game and served as the Senior Night.
The game was a huge success and cemented the championship season with a 9-1 record.
Maverick Soccer would like to thank Silverline, Winn Cheer, and Student Council for attending the game and cheering on their District Champs!
The Class of 2018 are one step closer to graduation and this win has made their Senior Year so much memorable to the nine Seniors on the team!
