Tuesday, September 11th, the students in Mrs. Cantu's class at Benavides read "The Kissing Hand".
"The Kissing Hand" is the story of a little raccoon named Chester who confronts the first day of school and needs reassurance.The story explains how the mother raccoon helps him out.
In honor of the story, the students created their very own Chester out of bread, peanut butter, jelly, and bananas!
