Monday, September 3rd, the AP Physics students in Miss Tijerina's class at Eagle Pass High School worked in small groups to practice estimation to answer Fermi questions.
A "Fermi question" is a question in physics which seeks a fast, rough estimate of quantity which is either difficult or impossible to measure directly.
The students practiced dimensional analysis, rounding and developed their problem solving skills.
They also ended their practice by presenting their findings to their classmates.
Go Eagles!
