Mavericks are Under a Microscope

Students in Mrs. Duran’s AP Biology Class, at C. C. Winn High School, have been researching the  evolution of bacteria, viruses, and eukaryotic cells.
Friday, September 7th, their curiosity about seeing living cells led them to conduct a microscope lab where they were given the opportunity of viewing living cells and nonliving materials.
The students explored the outside and collected bugs, feathers, plants, rain water, and drain water to analyze.
They were so intrigued with their findings, that they even viewed their own cheek cells.
The microscope lab was a success because it allowed the students to better understand the research they conducted.
Good job, Mrs. Duran!
