Ms. Amezcua’s U.S. History classes at Winn High School have been analyzing key documents and the legislation that were instrumental in laying the foundation for the United States Government.
Tuesday, September 11th, using various resources, they filled out the “Liberty Tree”.
The object of this activity was to engage, not only the students’ comprehension of the documents, but also their creativity.
These founding documents are crucial in aiding the students’ comprehension of key elements of the legislation that will be covered during the year.
This will ensure student mastery of the topic, hence, better preparing them for the end of year exam.
