Wednesday, September 19th, the 5th grade students at Graves Elementary took their exploration of the novel Hatchet to another level.
Hatchet is a 1987 Newbery Honor-winning young-adult wilderness survival novel written by American writer Gary Paulsen.
It is the first novel of five in the Hatchet series.
The Tigers added artsy fun to their read aloud by completing a drawing depicting settings and events from the novel.
