In honor of Patriot Day, the students in Mrs. Martinez's BIM classes at CC Winn worked on flyers in relation to the 9/11 attacks.
The students used Google docs and its features to create such project.
Mr. & Mrs. Leija also took on the mission to teach students the importance of honoring the fallen victims of the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
While Mr. Leija lectured on the facts and details of the event, Mrs. Leija focused her lesson on the sentimental aspects of the tragedy through reflective writing.
Through collaboration, Winn teachers were able to preserve remembrance of an event that occurred 17 years ago, and educate students on the importance of remaining united and resilient.
