Thursday November 15th, Eagle Pass High School Student Council donated several hundred toys to the Winter Garden Battered women’s Shelter Victim Advocate and Community Educator Carolina Gonzalez.
Ms. Gonzalez made a presentation to the EPHS Leadership class students advising them that love should not hurt.
She advised the students to report any incidents of relationship abuse.
The toys were collected by EPHS StuCo during the homecoming battle of the classes community service project. Special recognition to the Freshmen Class for bringing in the most toys.
