Friday, October 26th, the students in Mrs. Torres Hdz's class at CC Winn played a couple of games to spice up grammar learning.
Students played a game with dice first.
Each number rolled, called for a specific type of sentence to be written.
In groups, students worked to write as many sentences as possible following the correct format dictated by their dice roll.
The second game helped the students practice writing compound sentences.
They were given a specific amount of time to write as many compound sentences with the FANBOY they selected at random from the board.
Students with the most correctly written sentences won the game!
