Mrs. Torres Hernandez students at CC Winn have been reading Sandra Cisneros' "House on Mango Street." Students were asked to write their own vignette this week.
In literature, a vignette is a short scene that focuses on one moment that is especially powerful or significant.
Students wrote about their homes, neighborhoods, and specific events that have happened in their lives.
Monday, November 5th, they were asked to write 101 word vignettes, that will eventually produce their own books.
Mrs. Torres looks forward to seeing their final products at the end of the week!
