"Is this a dagger I see..."
Wednesday, January 23rd, students in Mrs. Mercer's English IV class at Winn High concluded the analysis of William Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Macbeth.
Through a series of reading discussions, students were able to analyze Macbeth's tragic flaw, identify the multiple instances of how Macbeth uses imagery to create the essence of the events that take place, and the universal themes found in the play.
Students were assigned a series of special projects and on Wednesday, January 30th, these projects were submitted. Students selected a significant quote from Macbeth and through an analysis of it, created an image that best portrayed the quote of choice.
Not only did the students show their understanding of the symbolism behind their quotes, but they showcased their artistic talent.
