Monday, February 4th, Mrs. Macias' 3rd grade class at Seco Mines learned all about equivalent fractions.
In math, equivalent fractions can be defined as fractions with different numerators and denominators that represent the same value or proportion of the whole.
The students learned that they can make equivalent fractions by multiplying or dividing both top and bottom by the same amount.
