Monday, February 4th, Mrs. Villarreal's 2nd grade class at Seco Mines focused their energy on two digit numbers.
The Miners worked on regrouping two digit numbers.
Regrouping in math is a term used to describe the process of changing groups of ones into tens to make adding and subtracting easier.
The students were able to use the base ten blocks to help them complete the subtraction strategies!
