Wednesday, February 27th, CC Winn College and Career Counselor, Ms. Tanya Tijerina and College Advisor, Mrs. Maria Luisa Uriegas attended the University of the Incarnate Word's Counselor Showcase in San Antonio, Texas.
The event consisted of a session with the President, several deans of the colleges, an overview of all their programs, cost, lunch, and a campus tour with a special tour of the Chapel of the Incarnate Word.
It was fascinating to see the school and their cathedral.
Ms. Tijerina has been such an asset to WHS and continues to immerse herself in programs and trainings that will be beneficial to the WHS academies.
