Liberty Elementary would like to congratulate their Division III Lady Eagle Basketball Team for continuing their dominance throughout their playoff run.
The game began as a defensive struggle as neither team was able to produce any points in the 1st period of play. Defensive schemes and rebounding lead to a low scoring 2nd period, the Lady Eagles were able to get a slight lead at halftime 7-3. The Eagles defensive full court pressure and precise passing helped them to a double digit win, 22-11, over their in-town rivals.
This qualified the girls for the CHAMPIONSHIP game against Alpes Allstar team on March 2nd.
