Tuesday, March 20th, C.C Winn's Lady Maverick Softball team had some very special guests at their 2nd district game against the Uvalde Lobos.
The Mavericks invited Perfecto Mancha's Lady Mustang Softball team to serve as "Little Sisters" for the game!
The Lady Mustangs were able to accompany their "Big Sisters" on the playing field during team introductions and root for them in the stands throughout the game.
This was a great opportunity for the young Mustangs to experience what it's like to be a C.C Winn Lady Maverick and provide them with a goal to someday become a Lady Maverick themselves.
At the end of the night, each Lady Mustang received a letter that contained advice from the Lady Mavericks to motivate Lady Mustangs during their softball season.
