WHS History Discovers Great Depression

C.C. Winn’s Dual Credit U.S. History classes have been learning about the importance of the Great Depression and the New Deal, and how some New Deal programs are still being utilized today.
U.S. History teacher, Ms. Dickerson had her students take a “selfie” with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) sign at any of the local banks.
Student had seen the sign before, but never understood what the significance was until they began discussing the New Deal.
Way to go Mavs!
