Texas Tech University with it's peak enrollment of 38,246 has become home to many CC Winn Mavericks.
This Tier 1 institution had a booming freshman class of 6,173.
With a retention rate of 85% the first year, this university has become an academic option for many.
WHS had the opportunity to visit the university on Saturday, September 15th.
Students walked the many acres through academic buildings and finalized their tour at Sneed.
At Sneed, students were able to see a dorm where the College of Engineering houses their Men of Stem.
Lunch was at Bledsoe Hall and the Mavericks continued their journey to the Jones AT & T Stadium to watch the Red Raiders take on the University of Houston.
