Tuesday, September 18th, students in Mrs. Torres-Hernandez' class at CC Winn attended their annual Library Orientation with campus librarian, Mrs. E. Landin.
Mrs. Landin was able to introduce students to resources available at the library, as well as get the students acquainted with library expectations.
As a connection to the orientation Mrs. Torres took the opportunity to have student research a specific historical figure.
Research was printed from sources like Britannica and Bio.com.
Mrs. Torres hopes this will allow students the opportunity to gain more knowledge on examples they can use in their written expository essay.
Mrs. Torres looks forward to the students completing their projects later this week.
She would also like to thank Mrs. Landin and all library staff who made her students' time at the library an educational and fun experience.
