Wednesday, September 12th, the English II students in Miss Cruz' class at Winn proved just how hard working and dedicated they are as scholars.
Students were tasked with creating argumentative presentations dealing with social issues, promoting consumer goods, or persuading consumers to use educational services such as tutoring.
Various groups went above the minimum requirements for a passing grade by bringing in tangible samples of their products. Samples included pink colored products with price tags, spaghetti tacos, Maverick Nutrition Bars, colorful patties, etc.
This project proved that Mavericks don't settle for meritocracy when it comes to academics.
Way to rise above, Mavs!
