Tuesday, September 11th, the 4th grade students in Mrs. Salinas' class at Graves Elementary worked on descriptive writing.
Descriptive writing is to describe a person, place or thing in such a way that a picture is formed in the reader's mind.
The students were introduced to this type of writing through a project where they used magazine cut outs and described in detail what was happening in the picture.
