Wednesday, September 12th, C. C. Winn High School celebrated National Day of Encouragement.
This day is dedicated to uplifting people around us and making a positive impact in their lives.
This day was intended for all of us to do something to offer encouragement to those around us.
A group of teachers at Winn High provided happy face stickers to their students and asked them to spread the encouragement.
The method implemented varied from having students write words of encouragement on sticky notes or simply having students give verbal encouragement to a special person in their lives.
The activity brought about positivity and many smiles. Students were amazed to see how a simple positive thought made such a great impact.
Good job Mavericks!
