Tuesday, September 18th, CC Winn High School Migrant Counselor, Ruby Perez and College Advisor, Maria Luisa Uriegas traveled to the UTSA and Texas State counselor update.
The meeting took place in San Antonio at Maggiano’s.
This yearly meeting provides information pertinent to the cohort.
The sessions provided information that updated admission and scholarship deadlines and outlined new scholarship opportunities.
The event culminated with two $500 scholarship raffles to give among two counselors.
The Mavericks are proud to announce that Mrs. Perez was the recipient of the UTSA scholarship.
She will be able to award one WHS student this scholarship in the Spring.
