Wednesday, September 12th,, C.C. Winn faculty and staff were trained by their very own staff member, Mr. Jose Montez, on proper procedures on an active shooter situation, dangerous weather situation, and hazardous chemical/dangerous substance situation.
Faculty and staff were trained on proper lockdown procedures should the situation arise.
This training served as a supplemental one to the district-wide one that took place before the year began in August.
EPISD would like to salute WHS for being proactive and keeping this information fresh and relevant.
In a world of insecurity, one thing is for sure, Winn High School is making all efforts to protect and secure the students that have been entrusted to them.
