Mr. J. Silva’s Criminal Justice classes at CC Winn have been hard at work learning all about pretrial and courtroom procedures, roles, and responsibilities.
The students are familiarizing themselves with roles and functions of the court system.
To understand court room roles, the students must be able to identify the phases of a trial and accurately identify the procedures used in the courtroom.
Friday, March 8th, US Probation Officer H. Herrera helped define key terms associated with pretrial and courtroom procedures and discuss options for pretrial proceedings.
He also described requirements for careers in US Probation, broadening students awareness of careers within the Criminal Justice Field.
