Monday, February 18th, Mrs. Romero's class at Graves recognized Presidents' Day.
The day is a state holiday in most states, with official names including Washington's Birthday, Presidents' Day, President's Day, and Washington's and Lincoln's Birthday.
The students learned all about the holiday during Social Studies and created their very own Washington Monuments.
Washington Monument is a landmark obelisk rising from the National Mall that honors America's first president.
