Tuesday, January 29th, Mr. Silva's Law II class at CC Winn learned about the different types of programs and agencies that provide aide and relief during emergencies.
Students learned the importance of emergency management planning due to the the increase in emergencies/disasters and their impact on our communities.
Students also identified the importance of effectively responding and planning for these contingencies resulting in saving lives, reducing property loss, and lessening liabilities.
