Tuesday, February 4th, seniors in Mrs. Mercer's class Carlos Frayre, Valeria Rodriguez, and Kassandra Rodriguez got their myON on!
The school district provides helpful resources to enrich student learning.
Students are taking advantage of these resources to improve their reading and vocabulary skills.
One of these resources is myON Reader.
This is an online digital library where students have access to over 1700 online books.
These books can be accessed at any time, anywhere.
Some of these books contain illustrations and give students the option of being read to.
After finishing their activity of the day, these students logged on to MyOn to complete the class requirements, which are to take the introductory assessment and explore their reading options.
Students learned about their lexile level and explored some of the reading options that are offered to them.
Mrs. Mercer continuously encourages students to explore the resources made available to them by the school district.
